π’ When do we use Present Simple?
We use Present Simple to talk about:

Daily actions
-
Habits
-
General truths
Examples:
-
I go to school every day.
-
She drinks tea in the morning.
-
The sun rises in the east.
π’ Formula
Subject + Verb (base form) + Object
Examples:
-
I play football.
-
They watch TV.
-
You read books.
π But for he, she, it, we add -s or -es to the verb:
-
He plays football.
-
She watches TV.
-
It rains in April.
π’ Examples in Sentences

I eat rice every day.
-
We live in Colombo.
-
She speaks English well.

The teacher teaches math.

✔ Always add -s / -es when the subject is he, she, or it.
