There’s a library in Finland where people don’t borrow books the usual way. Instead, the library has a human library!

• Instead of picking up a book, you can “borrow” a person for 30 minutes.

• These people are volunteers, and each has a unique story — for example, someone who lived in a different country, a refugee, a scientist, or someone who overcame big challenges.

• You get to sit and talk to them, like reading their life story out loud.

• The idea is to break stereotypes and learn about real human experiences.
